![]() ![]() Season 3 also introduces new new settings, some local like a hospital or a country club Christmas party, to places far away, like Japan or Vietnam. ![]() The season has more settings than any of the first two do. From Johnny and Miguel making a trip to a fun concert, to some wonderfully soundtracked war flashback scenes, Season 3 hits the marks you'd expect Cobra Kai's music to hit. The first two seasons of Cobra Kai brought us some epic music moments-think Daniel and Johnny grooving in the car to REO Speedwagon, realizing that maybe these two guys aren't too different after all-and Season 3 follows suit. And Cobra Kai manages to follow suit with a number of memorable music cues of its own, and that doesn't stop in Season 3. But it's often overlooked a little bit just how important a role the music of the original Karate Kid played-the theme song, "You're The Best," by Joe "Bean" Esposito, is one of the most recognizable of any '80s movie. Miyagi (Pat Morita), or the adversarial one that Cobra Kai now follows between Daniel and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The Karate Kid is remembered mostly for the relationships between its leads, whether that's the warm relationship between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Mr. ![]()
